Antonya Forsyth Diller, a native of Arcata, CA, finds great fulfillment in returning to Humboldt county to serve her local community. She graduated magna cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic West and subsequently became the on-site chiropractor for some of the largest companies in Silicon Valley. She has completed and continues additional advanced training with organizations that include the McKenzie Institute, Active Release Techniques, and the Council on Extremity Adjusting.
A former professional ballet dancer, she is now a marathon and ultramarathon runner. A lifelong commitment to performing and competing at physically demanding levels gives her a unique awareness of the value of movement for both physical and mental wellness. She has found chiropractic care to be a key component in her ability to compete and recover effectively and is passionate about sharing this experience with her patients.
Dr. Diller uses a combination of spinal and extremity manipulation, myofascial techniques (kinesiotaping, IASTM, trigger point release etc.) and approachable rehab exercises to help return people back to doing what they love, pain-free.
Dr. Diller is a Webster Certified perinatal provider, caring for expectant mothers through all phases of pregnancy and postpartum. This specialized technique assists in managing pregnancy-related pain, seeks to create a favorable environment for optimal fetal positioning and prepares the mother for birth by promoting proper movement of the pelvis and surrounding structures. She also currently studies with some of the most respected physical therapists and providers in the fields of perinatal care and pelvic floor rehab in order to offer additional rehabilitative support for women during that important time.
When not in the office or running local trails, Antonya plays the violin in the Eureka Symphony and enjoys outdoor adventure with her husband and family.
