Pamela Wells graduated Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic, West in 1985. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Human Anatomy and Physiology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1981.
Dr. Wells lived and practiced in the South Bay Area for 36 years, owning her own practice for 28 of those years. During that time she had the opportunity to treat patients of all ages, fitness levels, needs and goals. Over the years, she mentored many chiropractic interns through her participation in Palmer’s Preceptorship Program.
Dr. Wells values a treatment approach based on the best scientific evidence, clinical experience, and understanding of the patient’s needs and goals. She utilizes a variety of adjustive and soft-tissue techniques, and integrates movement and exercise training, drawing from her clinical and personal experience including yoga, dance, tennis, swimming, cycling, hiking and paddling.
Dr. Wells and her husband retired and moved to Eureka in 2022 to be closer to their daughter’s family and two grandsons. She joined the Active Care team in October of 2023 on a part-time basis. She welcomes the opportunity to utilize her knowledge and experience in chiropractic while being able to enjoy the freedom of a semi-retired lifestyle. Dr. Wells and her husband love their new home and especially enjoy hiking and exploring the region.
Dr. Wells enjoys spending time in nature, “adventuring” with her grandsons, gardening, playing the piano and relaxing with a good book.
